Purchasing a Website Design

Most people miss the amount of art involved when they get ready to purchase a website design. Web designing is art that goes beyond the standard form of art.

A web designer has to be able to take several different forms of artwork and work them all together to create artwork that is able to move the person viewing it.

And not only move them but to move them in the direction the web designer wants to move them.

Because of the amount of artwork used in a web design I am always looking for different ideas. And when I see an artist that is unique and has artwork that could easily be implemented into a web design or marketing campaign I get excited.

And it is that excitement that I felt when viewing this site. Checkout some of his artwork below.

Website Designing

I’ll be the first to admit that the web design is really nice. As long as you’ve got all day to wait on the design to load and the site to play a little movie with each click of the button.

It seems that Hollywood is about the only one building these types of sites now days. It’s one of the reasons I never go to the main movie website. If I’m looking for information about a movie, or, for that matter, information about anything the last thing I want to do is hang around on hold while the site loads.

I’m sure some people will blame it on my internet connection, however I’ve got a darn good connection and the load time is not the problem. It’s the movie that’s played, with each click of the button that drives me crazy.

I have a hard time believing that Hollywood is getting their money’s worth from these sites. Not sure why that don’t by two domain names and do a little testing to see which one most people like. I could be wrong but if I was designing their site I’d try and get them to try a little something different.
