Web Templates an Automated Systems

I spend a lot of the time on Web design forms and there is not a day that goes by that some old timer is not bragging about how he hand codes everything. These guys believe that if you are not hand coding then you are not a real designer.

I can understand where they are coming from, these guys spent years in college learning how to code everything by hand and here comes programs that do it all for you.

I agree that a Web designer needs to know how to code by hand but I disagree that a website coded by a program is less efficient than a website coded by a person.

But the big factor is the price and time spent coding by hand. You will spend a lot more time coding by hand than using a program. Because you are spending more time on the site you have to charge the customer more. And because you are spending more time fooling with the code than with the Web design, it is not going to look as good as the guys that use the program and spend more time on the look of the site and less time on the coding of the site.

That said, the thing that really gets me is all these template sites that are popping up all over the Internet. You can purchase a Web template for 100 bucks that is already set up with flash and a good-looking design. There are thousands to choose from so getting the perfect design isn’t hard. You can then take that design and modify it a little to fit perfectly into your niche.

When web design templates first came out I was totally against them.

However, the other day my guys were tied up designing websites for customers and I wanted to change the design on one of my sites. So I bought a template.

I actually like the template site better than http://www.geeksonsteroids.com and I’ve spent years trying to get the look and feel of Geeks on Steroids like I wanted and only a couple minutes on the other site.

Could template sites be the way to the future?

Another words, you need a powerful and emotional website that will show the site visitor that his/her life would be more complete, better, easier, more productive, more profitable and happier if they owed what it is that you’re selling.

This type of website can only come from a professional web designer and they aren’t easy to find. If you are living in Las Vegas and just did a search for Las Vegas web designers you’ll be hard pressed to find a good one.

However, keep in mind that just because you live in Las Vegas doesn’t mean that your web designer has to be located in Las Vegas. Other words, if you want I can build you a custom designed website that will do everything you want and more for an extremely good price.

I’ve started playing with a new web site today; it’s a web design website for web designers. We’ve made it through the recession with one of our best years ever; however, the hard times seem to be just getting started.

As Obama creates more programs that will cause tax increases across the board, I’ve got a feeling the worst times are still ahead of us. We’ve decided it was time to increase the ways we make money and in doing so we’ve started some offline businesses as well as more online businesses.

It’s time to step up our game while it’s still doing well.

The new website will add a new division to our current company and will be tailored towards web design companies that want to outsource their web design work. We know that it is important to deliver on time and under budget, so we’ve had to update our staff as well as our computers.

It’s a long process and one we are just getting started with but we hope that it will allow Geeks on Steroids to stay ahead of the pack.

I spend a lot of time online looking for that perfect web design. As a matter of fact I’d say about 8 hours of the day is in search of the perfect web design. I make a lot of money off affiliate marketing and unlike most people in the online world my search is for a kickass web design that has the ability to convert.

I see web design blog after web design blog pointing out this cool design or that cool design but none of them have what I am looking for.

A cool design want make me money, unless it has the ability to convert.

Potential Buyers

There are a certain number of people that will make a purchase when visiting our website but the question is how many potential buyers are leaving our site without making a purchase?

A buyer is someone that made a purchase while on our site however, a potential buyer is someone that for one reason or another did not make a purchase. And of course there are also those people that landed on our site that would not make a purchase no matter what we did or who we were.

The perfect web design is not the cool looking flash site but rather the site that is able to convert the visitor into a buyer.

I’m about tired of getting spammed by Windows Live.

It’s the whole Black hat mentality of if I can’t compete, I’ll cheat however, the methods they are using are a couple years old. Not only are they unable to compete with Google but they are just as unable to use new black hat methods.

A couple years ago Black Hats used PrStorm to ping thousands of sites at a time, when a site was pinged, it would say that one person went to your site from [Black Hat URL here]. If the site publically publishes its referral logs (giving links to all sites that sent a ping), the black hat website would get a backlink.

Windows Live is now showing up in my referral logs saying my site is ranking for all kinds of crazy keywords on page one. Keywords like Internet, Design, Web, Website and the list goes on and on, the sad part is that my website is not ranking for those keywords.

And the problem is that my stats are becoming more and more misleading. As a matter of fact it seems that every time I make a blog post I get more of these fake referrals.

I guess that means it isn’t going to stop anytime soon.

If Windows Live is going to go Black Hat they really need to do a better job.
