The sad part is that the custom website designs (in most cases) do not look as good as the website templates. The only thing the web designer has going for him is the word “custom” but he loses that once we take a template and start customizing it.

Yes the availability of website templates have opened up a whole new world of opportunity for web developers who can now create quality websites in much less time. I have dealt extensively with web designers over the last eight years and have found that most of the custom website designers get their ideas from template websites. So basically you are paying $5000 for a designer who got his idea from a $100 template.

You would be better off buying the $100.00 website template and then paying a web designer to customize it.
