am not going to lie to you; I love WordPress and use it on over 500 websites that I personally own. I’d even venture to say that I’ve done as much as most and more than others on the designing and programming side using WordPress.

Is it the best CMS system out there? No, but it is the easiest to use.

There are better CMS’s out there for both SEO and designing but none of them are as easy to use as WordPress. And let’s face it, WrodPress will do everything we need to do and in most cases a lot more.

As far as SEO goes, WordPress does an extremely good job and 90% of SEO is about backlinks anyway.

If you want a CMS your best bet is to use WordPress. I’ve been dealing with programmers and designers for the last 8 years and I can honestly tell you nothing that ever starts from scratch gets finished.

And the other problem is that there is no way that five programmers working on your project can compete with millions that are working on the WordPress project.
You can have it installed and working in under two-and-a-half minutes.

And the really cool thing about WordPress is not the ease of use, the fact that they rank really well, or that people can leave comments. The really cool part of WordPress is all the themes you can easily find.

Static vs. dynamic sites

A WordPress powered site is a dynamic site. Dynamic sites have content that is stored in databases and pulled out and displayed when instructed to do so. This is a powerful way to build a web site. The flexibility of a dynamic site is beyond anything you can imagine.

So if you buy a template and don’t like the colors you can change the colors, font sizes, font and everything else in one location for the entire site.

Buying a template and using it in a system like WordPress, you can make a change to the template and change the way all the pages that use that template are displayed. With a couple tweaks here and there in WordPress you have a custom designed template in a matter of minutes.
