I really get tired of all these wannabes and their spam mail. Keith Wellman is another Erick Rockefeller. They are nothing more than low life affiliate marketing guys that send out spam email with a link that redirects from their site to another site so they can make a nickel for sending a potential client to the affiliate.
The spam really picks up on the weekend because they are not working their day job.
I really have a strong dislike for the fast talking marketing guys. People that want to make out like they are making millions a day. Yet they have taken the time to stop and explain it all to me. These guys are not making money. They are building a list of emails to use for their own spamming or to sell to someone else. I have spent a month trying to get a guy that goes by the name of Erick Rockefeller to stop sending me his spam.
Erick Rockefeller is not going to stop spamming me because he feels that the more people on his list the more money he can make. But he is not the only spammer out there. All these guys screaming about having the secret formula and sending out free information on how to be a millionaire are nothing more than the bottom feeders trying to get a break.
They send emails like
Do you remember the very first time you realized you
could make money online?
It was a very exciting time for me…how about you?
Well, since then I’ve realized that “doing” is very
much just as important as “knowing” or actually
MORE IMPORTANT!
…And choosing which path to follow can be what
makes you money fast or faster…or not at all..
Right? Still with me?
Ok, well there are certain programs that will put
you right where you need to be…
What Erick and most these other guys normally do is try to sell you the secrets for making a living online. They are not making a living online but feel that if they can sell you someone else’s junk then they can start to make money. I am going to start writing about these guys and some of their tricks. I will start a section now called bottom feeders.
The manager of XM company, in charge of administing wholesale energy for Colombia, said that the services are recovering in 90 percents of the national territory and will happen between 2 to 4 hours.
The civil employee said that according to the information he had collected, one of the switches at the substation Torca in the north of Bogota, where the high tension cables arrive, did not open correctly and triggered a blackout in all the country.
“Protection systems Exist that would prevent and over flow of power. But the switch did not open and allowed the problem to overrun the country.
Interconexión Eléctrica SA and the Ministry of Defense said this was not a terrorist attack.
The manager of ISA, Luis Fernando Alarcón, showed that the fault was registered in the station of Torca, near Bogota, that extended to all the National network.
They are saying it was a technical problem in the substation Torca in Bogota but the causes have not yet been determined.
If anyone is interested. I have decided to turn ranked1 into a blog about SMO or social media sites. I decided to do some testing to help me determine which social media sites worked best. I am using one site about lawnmowers and just turned another web design site I had into a website about celebrity gossip.
I guess I should clarify that neither are websites but both are blogs. Anyway I am hoping to slowly get into some detailed post about how I am using the different networks to drive traffic to the different blogs as well as make money off that traffic. And that is the purpose of ranked1.
I have spent the last month playing around with the conversion rate on my website. I am spending between $500.00 and $1,000.00 per day on advertising at this moment. In order for me to continue spending that kind of money the website has to convert the traffic it is getting into sales.
The first week of the month we did a total re-design of the site and decided to advertise our prices on the site. The traffic increased but the sales dropped off. We immediately removed the prices and we started getting inquires from about 30% of the new traffic. We were happy with those numbers but felt we could do better. After a little thought we decided to move the phone number from the bottom of the page to the top. This increased the inquires from about 30% to 45% but did not increase the number of calls coming into the office.
It appears that the phone number at the top of the page helps build trust. At this moment our website is converting about 45% of it’s traffic. But we have to continue working with the website and seeing how to convert more of the current traffic into more sales.
It is a never ending job. But one that is worth the time and energy being spent on it.
