Blackout In All Colombia
The manager of XM company, in charge of administing wholesale energy for Colombia, said that the services are recovering in 90 percents of the national territory and will happen between 2 to 4 hours.
The civil employee said that according to the information he had collected, one of the switches at the substation Torca in the north of Bogota, where the high tension cables arrive, did not open correctly and triggered a blackout in all the country.

Interconexión Eléctrica SA and the Ministry of Defense said this was not a terrorist attack.
The manager of ISA, Luis Fernando Alarcón, showed that the fault was registered in the station of Torca, near Bogota, that extended to all the National network.
They are saying it was a technical problem in the substation Torca in Bogota but the causes have not yet been determined.
