There are basically 3 really good CMS systems and Joomla happens to be one of the three. My biggest problem with any CMS system is that there is a learning curve no matter which you decide to use.

Now, I’ve got designers that design for all types of CMS systems and it has allowed or rather forced me to play with all types systems. Joomla is one of the better programs but with more diversity comes bigger learning curves and Joomla has a pretty big learning curve.

If you are going to make a living online your best bet is too find a CMS you like and stick with it. Due to being a web designer I am forced into learning and using different ones because I have clients that prefer one over the other as well as the fact that some CMS systems are designed to do some things better than others.

Find you a CMS that you like, get you a custom designed template for the CMS and start using it. There is a lot of money to be made online but I see people day after day wasting time with things that don’t matter.

The biggest hurdle in making money online is getting started and sticking with it.
