Organic Search Engine Optimization is a lot like a foot race. And just like any race, you have to learn from your competition. And like it or not organic search engine optimization is about links. Good links will make up for any lack in un-optimized content or other website flaws.

Yes, for years we have heard that content is king and for years we have known that is not true. It is about links but not all links are created equal. A link from a website with a high page rank and very few outgoing links that uses your key word as anchor text will give your website a better boost then that same link from a webpage with a low PR.

Once again PR matters and I find it sad that so many organic search engine optimization gurus fail to understand that. There are a lot of ways to get good organic links but they do take time and effort.
