About five years ago everyone thought flash was the way of the future for Website design. Any website, be it an HTML site or flash-based site should increase customer confidence. A website visitor looks for unique content, high speed, smooth navigation and an overall attractive design.

The primary goal is to attract customers and guide them in the direction you want them to go.

A flash website is a highly attractive and interactive design that makes an appealing website. However, most of them are slow loading, has a complicated navigation and there is too much going on to guide the website visitor in the direction you want them to go.

The truth of the matter is most people visiting your website could care less what your web design looks like. Yes it needs to be attractive, it needs to guide the visitor in the direction you want them to go, you need a call to action but all of these things need to be implemented in a way that it does not take away from the website goal.

The goal of the website is to convert visitors into customers.

Website visitors do not care about your flash website design. A website visitor is there for content/information, enjoyment, or to purchase a product. They are not there to look at your website design or to be amazed at your flash presentation.
