Affordable is a tricky word, what is affordable for one person may not be affordable for another. There are a lot of ways to make a product affordable. In the past we’ve
tried to improve the speed that we are able to turn out websites in hopes of being able to give a better price.
Of course another way to make something affordable is to cut down on the quality. When looking for affordable Web designs we need to understand that a web design is an investment and not an expense.
When you invest in something you are hoping to get a return on that investment.
By cutting corners and trying to put as little money as possible into an investment you stand a chance of never getting a return on that investment.
Of course there are ways to save money and get a return on your investment.
Using open source software instead of custom designed software is not only a great place to start but a better place even if money is not a problem.
Other words, hands down open source software is a better investment and will yield a better return in years to come then custom designed software. Another good place to start is with web design template sites. You can find a template that looks pretty close to what you are wanting and then hire a web design company to customize it to fit your needs.
You can make a website affordable without losing the quality.
