I do believe that lots of moderators do not understand what their job is supposed to be. I also believe it could be one of the reasons so many forums seem to be dead.</description>

Yes, my head has gotten sore enough that I’m thinking of spending all my time on my own forum. I’m not sure if it is industry wide or just on the forums that I normally visit but they all seem to be dead anyway. 

I’ve not spent much time on the forums the last couple years so just slowly getting back into it.</description>

		<description>I feel your pain. Too often, mods get totally stuck on the power kick and don&#039;t do what&#039;s good for the forum. They should be there for dispute resolution, not to be part of the dispute in the first place.</description>
