The thing I really love about word press are the number of plug-ins available. As I set up the web hosting blog there was a couple things I did to make it a little more SEO friendly.

First I added a couple plug-ins;

Then I set up the Permalink Settings to show the date and post title.

And from there I added a couple sites to ping when a post is made.
