Question?
Need help from an SEO guru.?
I am a Las Vegas website designer and was wondering if every time when someone types a keyword in Google and clicks on my website from the results does it help increase my page rank?
Answer:
It’s probably a small positive factor, although they also measure the “bounce rate” of a site by counting the number of people who immediately return to the search results page after clicking onto your website, too many exiting your site in seconds would be a negative factor.
They also reportedly use 3rd party web traffic reporting services to get a more complete picture of your site traffic as well.
Some paid micro task sites, employ people just to search and access a site, presumably to help ranking. There are said to be some 200 different page ranking factors that are examined, although they are trying to move toward social factors like the +1 button, backlinks from other sites is still the biggest single SEO factor.
