Website Designs

I’ve been in the web design business for the last 9 years and I can tell you that there is a lot more to designing a website then just knowing how to use the tools. For one, a web designer needs to know something about the language he or she is programming in.

You’d be surprised at the number of web designers, I talk to everyday, that don’t know anything about the programming languages they are building the site in. I don’t know of any websites that won’t need some code tweaking once the site is finished. The web designing tools are great for getting the look and feel right, but once that’s done there will be some tweaking that will need to be done to the code.

And to make it even more complicated a web designer needs some artistic abilities. You have to be able to take different types of art forms and blend them together and create something that is pleasing to the eye. Then you have to be able to make the site visitors eye focus on the part of the website you want them to focus on.

Once that’s done the web design has to guide them and direct them to take a form of action that you are wanting. There is a lot more to designing a website then just designing a website.
